How to export multiple patients’ extended Observation History
In cases where you need to manually export a single or multiple patients’ Observation History over a 1-14 day period into a PDF document, a step-by-step guide has been provided for you below.
Step 1: Select the three lines on the top left of the main overview screen, then select “Observations History” under “Exports”.

Step 2: On the "Select Patients" page, select one or more of the patients you wish to export the Observation History's for, either by selecting the corresponding checkboxes or by selecting “Select All”. Once you have finished, select the “Choose Dates” button.

Please note: You can search for both current and even previous patients1 who have left a room by selecting the “Search & Filter” button in the top right corner of the screen.
1 The timeframe you can “Search & Filter” previous patients will depend on your organisation’s data retention policy. For example, if your organisation’s data retention policy is 28 days, you will only be able to “Search & Filter” patients that left a room on the ward within the previous 28-day period.
Step 3: Choose the “Start” and “End” dates for the Observation History you wish to export and then select the “Choose Recipient” button.

Please note: You can select a date range between 1 and 14 days. The available dates are dependent on your organisation’s configured retention period for observation data. This is typically 28 days but may be more or less depending on your organisation.
Step 4: Enter the recipient’s email and reason for export. Review the summary and then select “Confirm Export”.

A confirmation message will be displayed on the screen to confirm the Observation History has been exported.
You must be trained to use the system. Your Oxehealth Ward Lead can arrange this for you – or ask your manager.
