Reports
Vital Signs Trends and activity data are available to staff to inform care planning. Staff can use this objective data to review overnight activity to support a discussion about how an individual slept and their night-time routines, and inform how care needs might need to be adapted throughout the following day.
For example:
- Assessing a patient’s time “In Bed” to anticipate energy levels, care needs, or likely behaviours
- Knowing how often a patient goes to the bathroom or whether they left the room during the night.
An example of a 7-day Activity Report for a standard patient bedroom is shown below. These have proven useful during shift handovers, MDT reviews and in briefing specialists.
They can be accessed via the room action menu and exported to your work email address as a PDF if required.
A specific Seclusion Session Report is available for seclusion or s136/HBPoS rooms.
It is designed to provide a visual overview of a seclusion session, including vital signs data, activity levels and rapid tranquilisation (RT) administration.
For more detailed instructions on how to use Seclusion Session Reports, please go to Series 3 "How to view a Seclusion Report" and "How to start and stop a Seclusion Report".
