Introducing The Oxevision Sleep Module
- The Oxevision Sleep Module uses movement, activity, and physiological data (pulse and breathing rates) to provide information about the occupant’s sleep patterns.
- You can access the Sleep Report by selecting the respective room tile on the Overview screen which will open the Room Dashboard. Select the Sleep Report button to view the Sleep Report.
- The Sleep Module will only provide a Sleep Status when the bed is detected to be occupied.
- When a new person occupies the bed space, their data may be included in the Sleep Report. Please be mindful of room changes when interpreting the Sleep Report.
- The Sleep Report will not inform users as to whether an occupant is currently asleep or awake as this report only shows retrospective data.
- The Oxevision Sleep Module may not produce a Sleep Status (as shown in the Sleep Report as ‘In Bed - No Sleep Status’) for periods when it has low confidence in the data input.
- When Oxevision is switched off, Sleep data will not be obtained. Additionally, when the platform is paused, no Sleep data will be obtained for the duration of the pause.
- Sleep data is only available retrospectively. Your report will be available once the previous 24 hours data has been processed. Users should not refer to this report in order to check if an occupant is currently asleep or awake.
- The Oxevision Sleep Module is a Class IIa Medical Device in the UK and Europe and is a FDA Class II Medical Device in the US that is cleared to be used with individuals who are 18 years of age and older.
- The Sleep Module relies on the bed remaining in a certain position to obtain accurate readings. Please do not move the bed without contacting Oxehealth support.
- The Sleep Module is currently only available in private and semiprivate rooms. It is not available in seclusion rooms.
